SPILETTA is INNOCENT!
Spiletta was the victim of a vicious attack accusing her of plagiarism. In truth, the accuser was the plagiarist.

See http://community.livejournal.com/stop_plagiarism/67626.html

Although Spiletta is not an author here, as a writer myself, I can barely imagine the ordeal she must have been put through and I know that I would want the truth to reach as many corners of fandom as possible to clear my name...so this is my small contribution. Please spread this.

Update to eFiction 3.4
I've just finished updating the archive to the latest eFiction version (3.4.2). While I was at it, I put both versions of the fiction archive (main and back-up) back into step.

McSheplets Challenge
A couple of readers said they would actually prefer it if I posted the individual ficlets separately rather than grouping several together...so I'm about to do that!

I figured out what was wrong with the email system and, hopefully, it is now fixed :-)

Security Features
I don't know about the rest of you but I've had problems trying to read the security code since the latest release of eFiction. As the code is pretty much needed - due to the spammers out there who think 'great story, now go visit my porn/viagra site' is a lovely review (though it does get boring after the first 1,000 entries) - I decided to try find a middle road.

So...I've amended the code without (hopefully) losing too much security yet making it more legible for everyone out there. Obviously, that means you no longer have an excuse for not saying wonderful things about me and my stories ::snigger and big hint::

Still Here!!
Just in case you are wondering at the lack of activity... I'm in the middle of writing a 40,000 word McKay/Sheppard (NC-17) challenge story. I do plan to write the next (possibly final) part of SENTIENCE once that challenge is out of the way.

If inspiration should strike then I'll try to write a ficlet or two while working on this challenge fic :-D

eFiction 3.2
I've spent all evening upgrading all my fiction archives to the latest eFiction version. If anyone notices anything amiss then please let me know - doesn't mean I will fix it but.... :-)

Decision
I'm going to leave the archive up.

Note: Story has now been slightly rewritten and reposted. I couldn't find a lot that I wanted to change :-(

eFiction bug fixes
I've made more changes to try and make things a little smoother and easier for readers. There are still bugs in the eFiction code (especially with part of the 'search' facility) but I'll upgrade as regularly as I can to apply any fixes.

DB Change
It took me some time but I have changed the archive so it no longer stores the stories on the database. There was a lot of fiddling around to do so If anyone notices anything strange - missing pieces of stories etc - then PLEASE let me know asap so I can fix it :-)
