14 NOV	NOVEMBER 2024 - LATEST UPDATE and INFO Since the last update I have continued to add icons, wallpapers and media items to the Gallery for both old and new credits. Many thanks to volkameria who noticed a missing credit for The Alpha Device. This has now been added. Future Plans: I have not had a lot of free time but have been slowly reducing the file count. I still have screen captures for the rest of Stargate Atlantis Season 2. I plan to find time to sort through them and post them up. I want to look at ways to make the site more mobile friendly but that will take a lot of time and new skills learning so don't hold your breath!
20 JUN	JUNE 2023 - LATEST UPDATE and INFO Everything is back working thanks to the excellent support staff at WebHostingBuzz. Future Plans: I still have plans to reduce the file count (inodes) for the remaining files - episode screen captures in Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG1 and Traders. I discovered I had back ups of screen captures for the rest of Stargate Atlantis Season 2 that I thought I had lost when my external HD crashed a few years back. I plan to find time to sort through them and post them up. I want to look at ways to make the site more mobile friendly but that will take a lot of time and new skills learning so don't hold your breath!
18 JUN	JUNE 2023 - LATEST UPDATE and INFO I have replaced MOST of the individual screen caps into sets of 8 except for Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG1 and the Trader episodes. This is to save INODES (file, directory markers) so I could drop one of the webspacesand save some money. I have migrated everything across to the new (old) web hosting but will have to wait for the web host to remove that account and release any links before I can get my davidhewlett domain name to point across to the NEW place. In the meantime, if things should go awry over the next week or so the site is accessible using https://www.sanlynda.com/davidhewlett/
08 Feb	FEBRUARY 2023 - UPDATE and INFO Since the previous update I've continued to add images to the Gallery to fill some of those 'empty albums', and added stories to the AO3 Fiction Collection so please do remember to check them. I am slowly working my way through DH's body of work and have updated the credits page accordingly. The main change: I am slowly replacing all the individual screen caps into sets of 8. This is to save INODES (file, directory markers) so I can drop one of the webspaces later this year and save some money. It's annoying that I have lots of empty web space but its the number of directories/files that count! So far I have saved almost 1000 inodes and I am only just into Movies/TV starting with B :) I am hoping to complete this work by June 2023. I've also been looking at ways to make the site more mobile friendly but I am just one person so I can only tackle one major job at a time - and saving a little money is more important right now!

07 Jun	JUNE 2020 - SSL UPDATE and INFO I haven't made an update notice here in years but that doesn't mean the site has been abandoned :) I've continued to add images (mainly artwork) to the Gallery and stories to the AO3 fiction collection over the years. I do plan to go back through DH's body of work and update the credits page accordingly but I haven't had a lot of free time over the past few years. The biggest change recently is embracing 'https' by making the website SSL compliant. Links should all resolve from http to https, and you should see the little padlock in the URL bar now.

01 Jan	HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016 I've added LOTS of new stories to the fiction part of the archive over 2015, and will continue to add more over 2016. So check out those links! I do hope to have the opportunity to add more items to the gallery this year too.

03 Jan	HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015 I ought to make a New year's Resolution to announce more updates here this year! I always forget to update this page even though new articles have been added to the GALLERY over the last 5-6 months... and LOTS of new stories too. So check out those links!

01 Jan	HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014 I hope you like the cosmetic changes made to the Home page and to the background color for the site. I plan to keep adding more screen captures, media article etc so I do hope you enjoy visiting the site throughout 2014.

07 Jul	I have just finished loading the last of the screen captures, fan art, icons and wallpapers onto the new GALLERY. I have made a start on adding the media articles but it may take me some time, especially as I am adding NEW items as I go alone. Please check the GALLERY to see what's been added, or just to browse.
06 Jul	As always, finding time to update has been difficult. I have started moving all the images from this site onto a Coppermine gallery at: https://www.davidhewlett.co.uk/gallery/ It should make updating this archive easier for me. I have lots of screen captures that are just waiting for me to find time to sort through them before uploading them so I do hope to start adding more to the archive very soon.
